What is SCALES?
The friendly dragon that keeps you safe in crypto. A Solana community that helps you keep your funds safe, find your feet as a beginner, and actually enjoy it. Warm, not scary.
What does SCALES make?
A small family of tools: Protect (help so you don't get drained, and a hand to make you whole if you do), Nest (a private second brain for your people, notes, and follow-ups), Hoard (a budgeting companion from the den), and the community itself (the dragon, the lore, the people).
Is the team really back?
Yes. SCALES is being rebuilt by its original team, and what you are seeing in #general is official. Official news always comes from pinned posts and the Chronicler, never from a DM. If someone messages you claiming to be us, it is not us. When in doubt, ask in the channel before you click.
I was here in the early days. Is my account still around?
Yes, and so is what you did. Log in at scales.baby with your old Discord account or wallet, no invite needed. Your Wall shows what was kept in your name: your dragon, your badges, your history.
Is there a token?
Yes, $SCALES. You can stake it as a visible commitment to the community. Staking is live and non-custodial (only your wallet can release it), with no lock-up, unstake anytime, and no promises of yield or returns. Stake enough and you become Scalebound, which unlocks a gold mark on your wall and staker-only perks.
What does staking actually do?
Staking is how you plant a scale: a visible sign that you are here for the long term. Stake 1,000,000 SCALES or more and you become Scalebound, with a gold mark on your Wall, the Scalebound role in Discord, and one small perk in each monthly campaign, like early access to new lore. Perks are recognition, never advantages. There is no lock-up and no yield. You can unstake at any time.
How do I become Scalebound?
Three steps. Log in at scales.baby with your Discord account. Visit the stake page and stake at least 1,000,000 SCALES. Use the same Discord account you use in this server. The gold mark and the role usually appear within a minute.
Where are announcements posted?
Discord first. News, campaign beats and lore drops appear in #general and are pinned. The X account is quiet while we rebuild; quiet does not mean gone. If it did not come from a pinned post or the Chronicler, treat it as a rumour.
Do you discuss the token price?
No. The team never comments on price, here or in DMs. Token facts (contract address, supply) live in #scales-info.
How do I get involved?
The dragon is mid-reboot and asking the community how it should awaken. Answer the survey on the home page, and join the Discord, that's where SCALES lives.
